Russian Armed Forces Liberate Novy Trud in Donetsk People's Republic

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian Armed Forces have successfully liberated the settlement of Novy Trud in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This operation was carried out by units of the Center military group, as reported by the Ministry of Defense. In addition to the liberation of Novy Trud, Russian forces engaged and defeated multiple brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces across various locations, resulting in significant enemy losses.

The Defense Ministry detailed that Russian troops inflicted heavy casualties on Ukrainian forces, with over 550 servicemen reported lost in the areas surrounding Novotroitskoye, Udachnoye, and other settlements. The Ukrainian military also lost various military assets, including an infantry fighting vehicle, several howitzers, and other equipment.

In the Kharkov direction, units from the North group of troops engaged Ukrainian mechanized and territorial defense brigades, resulting in over 40 Ukrainian servicemen casualties and the destruction of military vehicles and artillery. Meanwhile, the Western Group of Forces also made tactical advancements, defeating enemy brigades and repelling counterattacks, leading to the loss of 400 Ukrainian servicemen and significant military hardware.

The Southern Group of Forces reported similar successes, improving their positions along the front line and inflicting losses on Ukrainian forces in the DPR. The Vostok group continued to penetrate deeper into enemy defenses, resulting in further Ukrainian casualties and equipment losses. The Dnepr group also reported successful operations in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, destroying additional military assets and inflicting casualties on enemy forces.

In a broader context, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed a massive strike on Ukrainian territory targeting critical energy infrastructure, which supports the military-industrial complex. This operation involved long-range precision weapons and attack drones, achieving its intended objectives.
