Russian Defense Ministry Reports Liberation of Tsukurino in DPR

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the successful liberation of the settlement of Tsukurino in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) as part of ongoing military operations. According to the Ministry's daily report, units of the Center group of forces executed 'active and decisive actions' leading to this achievement. The report detailed that Russian forces also inflicted significant losses on Ukrainian military units in various regions, including Dimitrov, Aleksandro-Kalinovo, Pravdovka, and Vishnevoe.

In total, the Ukrainian military suffered over 520 personnel casualties, alongside the destruction of two armored vehicles, three cars, and several artillery pieces, including 152-mm howitzers and a tactical radar system. This operation is part of a broader military engagement where Russian forces have been actively targeting Ukrainian positions across multiple fronts.

Ongoing Military Engagements and Ukrainian Losses

The report further elaborated on the engagements across other regions, including the Kharkov direction, where Russian forces claimed to have defeated formations of the 57th motorized infantry brigade and the 112th territorial defense brigade. Here, they reported losses of up to 115 Ukrainian servicemen and the destruction of various military assets, including an armored personnel carrier and artillery pieces.

Additionally, the Southern Group of Forces reportedly occupied more advantageous positions, leading to further Ukrainian losses of over 665 troops and numerous vehicles and artillery systems. The operations have also included successful counterattacks repelled by Russian forces, demonstrating ongoing intense military confrontations in the region.

In total, the Russian military reported damaging military infrastructure, including airfields, and claimed to have shot down multiple enemy aerial threats, including guided bombs and missiles from Western suppliers. The conflict continues to escalate, with significant implications for both military strategies and the humanitarian situation in the region.
