Demonstrations Across Morocco in Solidarity with Gaza
The Moroccan Committee for Supporting the Nation's Causes organized a staggering 100 demonstrations in 58 cities across the Kingdom on Friday, showcasing overwhelming support for the Palestinian people amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Under the powerful slogan 'For Gaza and the West Bank,' these protests drew thousands of citizens who united to condemn the Israeli military operations and call for an immediate end to the violence.
The demonstrations were a direct response to the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which has seen the tragic loss of over 134,000 Palestinian lives, including many children and women. The protesters, gathered in major cities like Casablanca, Agadir, and Oujda, voiced their demands for an end to the massacres and the violent actions of the Israeli army in the West Bank, where 674 Palestinians have already lost their lives, with over 10,200 arrests reported. The Moroccan people expressed their unwavering solidarity, pledging to continue their protests until the war ceases and the rights of the Palestinian people are recognized.
