Alarming Situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital Amid Israeli Military Operations
The situation at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza has become increasingly dire following a violent raid by Israeli forces. The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the hospital is experiencing a catastrophic crisis, exacerbated by the targeting of its generators and oxygen supply systems. Tragically, two children have died in the intensive care unit due to these failures. The World Health Organization has echoed these concerns, stating that the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic, with over 15,000 individuals requiring urgent medical treatment outside the region. Among those arrested were Saeed Shabir, the director of the Civil Defense Center in Jabalia, and firefighter Ramadan Al-Aqraa. The Civil Defense Authority reported that these individuals were taken to an undisclosed location. The ongoing military actions have severely hindered emergency services, with the Israeli army reportedly threatening civil defense workers against conducting rescue operations.
