The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported a critical situation as contact has been lost with the Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, which was stormed by Israeli forces. The WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed grave concern for the safety of approximately 200 patients and numerous displaced individuals sheltering there. Prior to the loss of communication, hospital director Hussam Abu Safiya reported that the facility had sustained injuries among its medical staff due to Israeli shelling.
