Lina, missing since September 2023, remains untraceable. Her mother’s heartfelt plea on 'Call for Witnesses' urges the public to come forward with any information about the suspected kidnapping.

Urgent Plea to Find Missing Teenager Lina

In a heartfelt appeal on M6's 'Call for Witnesses,' the mother of missing teenager Lina, Fanny Groll, reiterated her desperate need to find her daughter, who has been missing since September 23, 2023. 'We need to know, we need Lina, we want to understand,' said Fanny, urging anyone with information to come forward. Emphasizing the anonymity of calls, she pleaded for the public to not hesitate and provide any leads that might solve the mystery.

Lina, a 15-year-old girl from Bas-Rhin, disappeared while on her way to Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station to meet her boyfriend, Tao, in Strasbourg. Her boyfriend, though absent from the show, expressed his concern through an email read by the presenter. 'Lina, be strong and don’t give up either, I think of you a lot,' he conveyed.

During the program, an ex-girlfriend of one of Lina's alleged rapists from a 2022 complaint provided a testimony, suggesting a possible connection. However, Lina’s mother expressed a strong belief that her daughter’s disappearance was an abduction. 'She wouldn't have left voluntarily when she was excited to meet Tao,' Fanny asserted, stressing that Lina was in high spirits at the time.

Unanswered Questions and Ongoing Search

The suspicion of kidnapping is further fueled by Fanny’s belief that the culprits were familiar with the teenage girl and her route. 'These are people who knew… who knew that she would be there,' Fanny stated, indicating the possibility of an orchestrated crime. Lina's mother also shed light on the teenager's social circle, hinting at possible 'bad company' that could have entangled Lina in dangerous situations.

Adding to the collective effort, a solidarity concert by Alsatian rock-pop group, Why Not, was organized on April 20, with all proceeds going to the association 'Les Bonnes Etoiles de Lina,' created by her mother. The event saw an impressive turnout, symbolizing the community's support for the missing girl.

Despite exhaustive efforts, Lina remains missing. She was last seen dressed in a gray dress and white down jacket, walking towards Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station. Her route, crossing departmental road 350 and ending near a pond, marks her eerie vanishing point. As time passes, the urgency to uncover any clues becomes even more pressing.

  • The disappearance of Lina has not only devastated her family but also heightened the sense of insecurity within the community. Local authorities continue their investigation, scrutinizing every possible lead. However, concrete evidence remains elusive.
  • The involvement of her ex-boyfriend and the alleged rapists raises significant questions about their potential connection to Lina's disappearance. While no official suspect has been named, the focus remains on unraveling any ties to her social circle and tracing her last movements meticulously.
  • Concerts and community efforts highlight the importance of unity and public cooperation in such distressing situations. 'Les Bonnes Etoiles de Lina' symbolizes hope and the relentless pursuit of truth in the face of adversity.
