Russian Forces Liberate Dalneye in Donetsk People's Republic
The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the liberation of the settlement of Dalneye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by units of the Southern Group of Forces. This development is part of the ongoing military operations in the region, as detailed in the ministry's daily report. The statement highlighted that the liberation was achieved through decisive actions against Ukrainian forces, including the 33rd, 54th Mechanized, and 56th Motorized Infantry Brigades.
In addition to the liberation of Dalneye, Russian forces reported significant losses inflicted on the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including the deaths of 380 servicemen and the destruction of various military equipment, such as a British-made 155-mm self-propelled artillery unit and multiple howitzers. The report also mentioned the successful repulsion of a counterattack by the 46th Airmobile Brigade of Ukraine.
Ongoing Military Engagements in Kharkiv and Other Regions
In the Kharkiv direction, units of the North group of troops engaged and defeated formations of the 116th territorial defense brigade and the 5th border detachment. The Ukrainian forces reportedly suffered losses of up to 145 servicemen, along with the destruction of two tanks and several armored vehicles. Meanwhile, the West group of forces continued to improve their tactical positions, inflicting further losses on Ukrainian brigades in the Kharkiv region and the DPR.
The report indicated that the enemy's total losses in these engagements exceeded 480 servicemen, with significant equipment losses, including US-made artillery units and electronic warfare stations. The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized the effectiveness of their operations across various fronts, including the Center and East groups of forces, which have been actively engaging Ukrainian brigades and repelling counterattacks.

The Russian Defense Ministry also provided updates on air defense operations, claiming the interception of two British-made Storm Shadow cruise missiles and six US-made HIMARS rockets.
