Russian Armed Forces Conduct Extensive Strikes on Ukrainian Military Facilities
From November 9 to 15, the Russian Armed Forces executed a series of 42 group strikes utilizing high-precision weapons and attack drones, targeting critical infrastructure of the Ukrainian military. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, these strikes focused on energy facilities that supply the military-industrial complex, military airfields, and production workshops for operational-tactical missiles, including the Sapsan. Additionally, the strikes hit assembly and storage sites for attack UAVs, arsenals, and ammunition depots, significantly impacting Ukraine's military capabilities.
The Russian military reported that during this week, they successfully shot down 449 unmanned aerial vehicles, ten French Hammer guided bombs, and 24 HIMARS rockets supplied by the United States. Ukrainian Armed Forces Suffer Significant Casualties
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 41 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered during this period, and five settlements were reportedly liberated, including Rivnepil, Voznesenka, Volchenko, Stepanovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, and Kolesnikovka in the Kharkiv region. In various operational directions, the Russian forces inflicted substantial damage on Ukrainian military formations. In the Kursk direction, they targeted multiple brigades, leading to the loss of 2,760 Ukrainian servicemen, along with significant equipment losses including tanks and armored vehicles.
In the Kharkov direction, the Russian forces reported similar successes against Ukrainian mechanized and infantry brigades, contributing to a total of over 3,435 Ukrainian servicemen lost, alongside the destruction of tanks and combat vehicles. The Southern Group of Forces also reported over 4,715 Ukrainian servicemen casualties, with extensive losses in artillery and armored units.
