Teacher at Paris Saint-Germain Training Center Faces Trial for Corruption of Minors
A teacher employed at the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) training center is set to stand trial on January 31 in the Versailles criminal court for charges related to the corruption of minors over the age of 15. This announcement was made by the public prosecutor's office on Wednesday, highlighting serious allegations against the 27-year-old man, who was taken into custody as part of a preliminary investigation into sexual assault and corruption of minors.
The investigation has identified six teenagers as victims, with reports detailing troubling behavior from the teacher. According to police sources, the teacher attempted to engage in inappropriate conduct, including trying to put his hand in one student's tracksuit and soliciting intimate videos from another. While only one formal complaint has been filed, it is noted that prior reports against this teacher were made in 2021 by high schools in Seine-Saint-Denis, where he allegedly contacted students via social media to make sexual propositions.
This case raises significant concerns regarding the safety of minors in educational environments and the responsibilities of institutions like PSG to protect their students. The Versailles prosecutor's office has indicated that the teacher has been placed under judicial supervision pending the trial.
