When the Israeli military faced strong criticism following reports that about 100 Palestinians were killed in connection with the bombing of a school building in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military refuted the attack, saying it was aimed at Hamas members.
The Israeli military emphasized that three precision artillery shells were used in this bombing and that 'according to expert analysis, it cannot cause the scale of damage claimed by Hamas authorities in the Gaza Strip.'
International and Arab condemnations of the Israeli forces' targeting of the 'Al-Tabaeen' school in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza City, which shelters displaced people, resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
The Jordanian government also condemned in the strongest terms Israel’s bombing of the 'Al-Tabaeen' school.
