Al Jazeera 360 Achieves Milestone of One Million Subscribers
Al Jazeera 360 has reached a significant milestone by garnering one million subscribers in under 90 days since its launch. This rapid growth positions it as one of the most widely-read platforms globally. Jamal Al-Din Al-Shayal, the platform's Content Strategy Manager, expressed pride in this achievement, highlighting the team's dedication to delivering quality content that resonates with audiences worldwide.
Global Reach and Social Media Impact
The platform's influence extends beyond the Arab audience, achieving over 100 million interactions on social media since its inception. Launched in mid-September 2024, Al Jazeera 360 serves as an on-demand video service, featuring a rich archive dating back to the network's founding in 1996. The platform offers a diverse array of programs, including cultural, entertainment, dialogue, religious content, documentaries, and investigative reports.
Extensive Content Library and Accessibility
Al Jazeera 360 has quickly developed a loyal following, particularly for its weekly programs such as “Al-Shabaka,” “Hukm wa Hikma,” “Bab Hiwar,” “Dhahaya wa Abtal,” and “Al-Warsha.” The platform boasts an archive of approximately 50,000 hours of content produced by various Al Jazeera channels, including Al Jazeera News and Al Jazeera Documentary. Additionally, news programs that were temporarily suspended due to ongoing regional events have resumed broadcasting exclusively on Al Jazeera 360. The platform is accessible on multiple devices, including the Apple Store, Google Play, Apple TV, and Google TV, with plans for further expansion. Notably, all content is available free of charge to subscribers.
