Tragic Car Accident Claims Life of 3-Year-Old in Samaria
A devastating car accident occurred today on road 555 in Samaria, between the settlements of Meschit and Itamar, resulting in the death of a 3-year-old boy and serious injuries to several others. The collision involved two private vehicles, one of which caught fire. Emergency services, including MDA medics and IDF medical forces, rushed to the scene to provide medical assistance and transport the injured to nearby hospitals including Sheba, Schneider, and Tel Hashomer.
The accident left four individuals in serious condition, including a 20-year-old man suffering from a head injury and a 14-year-old boy with multi-system injuries. Additionally, a 50-year-old man sustained limb injuries, while a 35-year-old woman was moderately injured, and a 10-year-old girl escaped with minor injuries. Despite the intensive resuscitation efforts, the young boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rabbi Reshef Rudy Esteban from the Shomron Regional Station of the Fire Brigade reported that their teams were quickly dispatched and upon arrival, they found one vehicle engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately initiated operations to extinguish the fire and search for any trapped individuals. The rapid response of emergency services was crucial in managing the aftermath of this tragic incident.
