Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 7 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in Jenin and Tubas during the massive military operation launched by the Israeli occupation army in the northern occupied West Bank since the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The reporter said that two Palestinians were martyred in the occupation's bombing of Al-Fara'a camp in Tubas, and the occupation forces began storming it with a landing of soldiers after a helicopter arrived at the camp's vicinity, followed by pushing a number of military vehicles towards the camp amid armed clashes between the resistance fighters and the invading forces.

For its part, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that two people were killed and three injured - one of them in critical condition - during the occupation forces’ storming of the city of Jenin after Israeli special units infiltrated the city’s camp.

Armed clashes broke out between resistance fighters and the occupation army, which opened fire directly at the citizens, which led, according to medical sources, to the death of one person and the wounding of three with live bullets. The army then began sending military reinforcements towards the city and the camp amidst the flight of reconnaissance aircraft.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 3 Palestinians were martyred in the occupation bombing of a car between the villages of Sir and Al-Musliya, south of Jenin.

The Red Crescent condemned the occupation's violations and said that its forces were obstructing the work of ambulance teams in the northern West Bank during its military operation, which was described as the largest since 2002.

The occupation army announced that it had begun a large-scale military operation in Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas in the northern West Bank, since the early hours of dawn today, Wednesday, while the Palestinian resistance factions announced that they would confront the incursions and carry out qualitative operations.

The West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, is witnessing an escalation in incursions, but the situation has escalated further since Israel launched its devastating and ongoing war 10 months ago on the Gaza Strip.

According to official Palestinian sources, the Israeli attacks on the residents of the West Bank have left more than 640 martyrs and about 5,400 wounded since last October 7.
