Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have successfully repelled 14 counterattacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to a report from the Russian Defense Ministry dated September 23. The West group of forces notably improved their tactical positions, inflicting significant losses on various Ukrainian brigades in regions including Kupyansk and Kharkiv.

The report detailed that the enemy suffered losses of up to 450 troops along with military equipment, including tanks and howitzers. Units from the Center group also reported successful engagements, destroying manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian forces near settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic.

The East group of forces also made advances, destroying elements of the 58th motorized infantry brigade and repelling a counterattack from the 72nd mechanized brigade. The Southern Group of Forces reported the highest enemy casualties, with up to 600 servicemen lost, alongside various artillery systems and armored vehicles.

In total, Russian forces claimed to have struck enemy concentrations in 135 areas, showcasing their operational capabilities through coordinated assaults involving aviation, artillery, and missile systems.
