The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will feature an unprecedented purple athletics track at the Stade de France, marking a significant departure from the traditional red seen in Tokyo 2021. This bold aesthetic choice, as explained by Alain Blondel, the event's organizer, aims to align with the Paris 2024 graphic charter and provide a fresh visual experience for spectators. The track will showcase two distinct shades of purple: a lighter hue for competition areas and a darker shade for technical zones, complemented by gray accents reminiscent of the 1924 Olympic Games.
