Despite the loss, players and fans alike are optimistic about the future of the team. Nadir Hifi, a guard for Paris Basketball, expressed his sentiments after the match, stating, "It was a special evening for the club and for us. We showed a lot of positive things tonight, which gives us hope for the future. We will work hard and come back stronger." The atmosphere in the Adidas Arena was electric, with 8,000 spectators filling the stands, showcasing the growing support for the team.
The match marked Paris Basketball's return to the Euroleague, the second most prestigious basketball competition globally, after a long absence. The excitement was palpable as the team competed against seasoned players from Belgrade, who have been in the Euroleague for over two decades. Hifi noted the difference in pace and physicality in the Euroleague, emphasizing the need for the team to adapt quickly. "It’s another level, a completely different level. We have to prove ourselves throughout the season," he added.

Hifi remained confident, stating, "We have the level to beat many others in the Euroleague. I am sure of it." The team is set to return to training and is looking forward to their next match against La Rochelle this Sunday.
