Military Expert Praises Palestinian Resistance in Jabalia
Major General Mohammed Al-Samadi, a military and strategic expert, has described the actions of the Palestinian resistance in Jabalia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, as an "operational miracle and remarkable genius." His analysis highlights the resistance's ability to confront the Israeli occupation army despite significant disparities in military capabilities. Al-Samadi emphasized that the ongoing battle in Jabalia is a tactical victory for the resistance, showcasing their resilience under harsh conditions.
Tactical Challenges and Innovative Responses
The Jabalia camp is currently besieged, with Palestinian fighters facing formidable armored brigades, including the 401st and 460th brigades, alongside the Givati Brigade, all supported by extensive air and artillery fire. Despite these overwhelming odds, the resistance continues to conduct successful operations, bolstered by the steadfastness of the local population. Al-Samadi noted that the resistance has transformed Israeli military tools into means of resistance, citing recent footage from the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, which displayed the destruction of an Israeli Merkava tank.
Resourcefulness Amid Adversity
Al-Samadi pointed out that these operations are executed using primitive means, reflecting the resourcefulness of the resistance fighters. For instance, a 500-pound MK-82 bomb, despite being rusty and seemingly unusable, was repurposed by the resistance to destroy the tank. This operation demonstrated advanced engineering capabilities and effective leadership within the ranks of the Qassam Brigades. Al-Samadi further analyzed the military tactics employed by the Israeli army, which he described as a "scorched earth" approach, involving random shelling and destruction of infrastructure. However, he reiterated that the Palestinian resistance has adapted to these tactics by employing small group strategies for surprise attacks and sniper operations.
