Itzik Zohar Apologizes Amidst Assault Allegations
Former soccer player Itzik Zohar has publicly apologized after being indicted for assault and threats against his ex-partner, Mittal Adri. But there is no right to complain about them, but to accept them with understanding and humility.'
Despite the public apology, the controversy continues. Last weekend, Zohar and Adri were spotted together in Tel Aviv, raising questions about the status of their relationship. However, Adri clarified her stance, stating, 'Immediately after the event ended, I made a decision to end the marital relationship with Itzik. There is no going back, and there will be no way back.' She emphasized that her decision was made without hesitation and that she stands firm against violence.
The video has also brought forward past grievances. Network anchor Michael Lewis accused Zohar of owing him NIS 35,000 for rent from a decade ago, adding, 'What is terrible in this whole story is the way he spoke and behaved in front of my mother, a woman 20 years older than him.'
Zohar's attorney responded to Lewis's claims, suggesting that they were motivated by a desire for publicity, given that the allegations are over 10 years old. He argued that Lewis never took the matter to court because he knew it would be dismissed.
