The Islamic Call Organization has resumed its operations in Sudan after facing significant asset losses due to the ongoing conflict. With plans for a donors' conference to raise $40 million, the organization aims to address critical humanitarian needs in the region.

The Islamic Call Organization (MADA) has resumed its activities in Sudan despite significant challenges, including an estimated loss of $50 million in assets due to ongoing conflict. The organization, founded in 1980, focuses on humanitarian efforts across 40 African countries.

In response to the humanitarian crisis, MADA's Board of Trustees convened an emergency meeting to discuss strategies for alleviating suffering in Sudan. They announced plans for a donors' conference to raise $40 million for various projects, particularly in health and education.

MADA has been active in providing emergency assistance, including food aid and medical supplies, to internally displaced persons and refugees. They have distributed food baskets to tens of thousands and contributed over $2 million in medical support.

The organization is prioritizing education recovery, aiming to rehabilitate schools and support teacher training, highlighting the long-term impact of war on Sudan's youth.

Despite relocating its headquarters to Kampala due to the war, MADA maintains a valid agreement with the Sudanese government and continues its operations in the region.
