Citing two undisclosed Israeli sources, the report suggests that this attack could involve a significant use of drones and ballistic missiles, executed by pro-Iranian armed groups in Iraq. This strategy may be a means for Tehran to avoid direct retaliation from Israel against its strategic sites in Iran. However, contradicting this claim, a source from the Israeli Broadcasting Authority stated that there are currently no indications supporting the notion of an imminent Iranian attack.
Iranian Officials Respond to Israeli Aggression
In light of recent Israeli military actions, Iranian officials have vowed a strong response. Mohammad Mohammadi, head of the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, characterized the Israeli assault as desperate and assured that Iran would retaliate decisively. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard's commander, Hossein Salami, echoed this sentiment, stating that Israel is acting recklessly and without regard for international norms.
