Hezbollah's Missile Strikes Challenge Israeli Claims
Military and strategic expert Colonel Hatem Karim Al-Falahi has asserted that recent missile strikes launched by Hezbollah on Israeli cities contradict the Israeli army's assertions regarding the depletion of Hezbollah's missile capabilities. According to Al-Falahi, these strikes serve as a clear message from Hezbollah, demonstrating that the group still possesses a significant arsenal and the ability to engage in battle effectively.
Al-Falahi highlighted that Hezbollah has increased its rocket launches towards Israeli cities in recent days, emphasizing their operational capabilities. He specifically mentioned that the city of Haifa is vulnerable to missile attacks, similar to those experienced in Kiryat Shmona. The expert noted that Hezbollah's missile capabilities have reached critical targets within Israel, including the Glilot base of the 8200 Military Intelligence Unit on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. This base has reportedly been targeted multiple times by Hezbollah, indicating a strategic focus on significant military installations.
Israeli media confirmed that explosions were heard in Tel Aviv, causing disruptions at Ben Gurion Airport, further illustrating the impact of these missile strikes. Al-Falahi elaborated on the ongoing confrontations in southern Lebanon, explaining that the Israeli army aims to control the heights overlooking the Litani River to gain a strategic advantage in the region. However, he characterized the current battles as limited skirmishes, confined to a border strip of approximately 80 to 100 kilometers.
