Military expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi has stated that resistance operations in the Gaza Strip persist despite a decline in intensity due to the Israeli occupation army's limited penetration into certain areas. He emphasized that fighters are currently entrenched in tunnels and rubble, awaiting close-range confrontations. Recent incidents include the targeting of an Israeli special unit in Beit Lahia and the reported deaths of five Israeli soldiers in separate incidents. Al-Duwairi noted that the Al-Quds Brigades successfully targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with a tandem missile in Jabalia, highlighting the ongoing conflict despite limited capabilities. He also remarked on the Israeli forces' restricted movements, primarily operating within a small area of Beit Lahia, and the recent intensification of raids in Al-Mawasi, which may be influenced by international pressures regarding aid access to northern Gaza.
