An exhibition celebrating the Surrealist movement has opened at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, marking a century since its inception. This extensive showcase features around 500 works from renowned artists such as Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, and Max Ernst, highlighting the movement's enduring relevance and its revolutionary approach to art and society.
The exhibition, which runs until January 13, 2025, is set in a 2,200 square meter space and includes various forms of art including paintings, sculptures, and films. It aims to illustrate how Surrealism, born in the aftermath of World War I, continues to resonate in today's world, especially amidst contemporary global conflicts.
