Tensions escalate as Iran closes its airspace, Hamas confirms the death of its leader, and Israel retaliates against Hezbollah following deadly attacks. Discover the latest developments in the ongoing conflict.

Iran has announced the closure of its airspace until 5am Italian time, according to sources cited by Israeli media. Military analysts report that Tehran has also recently informed Qatar and Saudi Arabia of its intention to carry out an attack against Israel, asking Doha and Riyadh not to allow the Jewish State or the United States to use their airspace.

The Islamist group Hamas confirmed this Wednesday the death of its leader, Ismail Haniya, in an attack, attributed to Israel, in Tehran, where he was on an official visit. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) evacuated this Tuesday 85 seriously ill and injured people from Gaza through an airport in southern Israel to receive care in Abu Dhabi, in the largest operation of this type since the beginning of the war.

The Israeli army has carried out an attack against Hezbollah interests in a residential neighborhood in the south of Beirut, capital of Lebanon, in response to the death of 12 minors in the Golan Heights. The US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, has assured that his country will 'help' Israel defend itself in the event of being attacked again, given the growing tension on the border with the Lebanese militia.
