The ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in over 40,000 Palestinian casualties since October 7, highlighting a severe humanitarian crisis amidst continued Israeli airstrikes and international inaction.

An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that two Palestinians were martyred and others injured in bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday.

The reporter said that a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured in the occupation army’s bombing that targeted a house in the vicinity of the Al Amal Hotel, west of Gaza City.

In the center of the Gaza Strip, the reporter reported that a Palestinian was martyred in a bombing by an Israeli march that targeted a house in the city of Deir al-Balah.

Three people were also wounded in a raid that targeted a house in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip as well.

To the south, the occupation army artillery continued to fire flares in the sky of the town of Abasan Al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis.

Medical sources told Al Jazeera yesterday, Wednesday, that 51 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn.

For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the total number of victims of the war on the Strip rose to 40,534 martyrs and 93,778 injured.

Since October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, with American support, which has left, in addition to the martyrs and wounded, 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and deadly famine.

Israel continues the war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
