Celebrating Global Innovation at the Entrepreneurship World Cup

The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) finals are set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 5 to 9, 2024, under the auspices of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at). This prestigious event will feature the top 100 startups from around the globe, showcasing their innovative ideas and competing for a share of the staggering $1 million in cash prizes. Organized in partnership with the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), the EWC aims to stimulate local and foreign investment while highlighting the Kingdom as a global hub for entrepreneurial opportunities.

A Platform for Emerging Entrepreneurs

Since its inception in 2019, the Entrepreneurship World Cup has attracted over 420,000 entrepreneurs from 200 countries. This year, the finalists were meticulously selected from more than 16,000 applicants, each having excelled in their national competitions. The competition not only provides financial rewards but also offers invaluable training and networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with experts and potential investors. Sami bin Ibrahim Al-Hussaini, Governor of Monsha’at, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in boosting economic growth and fostering a prosperous future for both local and international entrepreneurs.
