The British television star and doctor, Michael Mosley, who was reported missing since Wednesday, has sadly been found dead on the Greek island of Symi. His body was discovered on Sunday by a film crew from the Greek public channel ERT, who were filming in the area where Mosley had vanished. The 67-year-old media personality was last seen taking a solitary walk on one of the island's beaches.
Mosley's disappearance prompted a significant search operation by Greek authorities, who intensified their efforts over the following days to find the popular doctor known for his innovative diet advice and television appearances. Tragically, Mosley's body was located near a rocky coast, and police confirmed that he had been deceased for several days.
A call for witnesses was launched on Facebook, where Mosley’s relatives posted his photo, hoping for information regarding his whereabouts. Emergency services, volunteers, and specialized units, including a dog brigade, a drone, and a helicopter, all participated in the search. Despite these extensive efforts, it was a film cameraman reviewing footage who noticed something unusual that led to the discovery of Mosley’s body.

Mosley’s career as a media doctor began in 1985 when he was hired as a health consultant by the BBC. Over the years, he became a household name through his programs dedicated to medicine and health across various British television networks, most notably on BBC One’s 'The One Show' and ITV’s 'This Morning.' He was also the host of the podcast 'Just one thing' on BBC Radio 4.
