Organized Theft at Nice Airport

The stolen luggage, containing personal effects valued at approximately 1.5 million euros, included jewelry and watches. Law enforcement agencies quickly mobilized to track the vehicle, leading to the suspects' arrest in Hendaye on July 18, where police discovered cash and jewelry hidden in the car.
The investigation has since escalated, with the Nice public prosecutor's office classifying the crime as “aggravated theft by an organized gang.” The suspects have admitted to the theft and are now facing serious charges, including criminal association and forgery.
