Suspect Arrested in Schoolgirl's Death Linked to Farm Incident
A tragic incident in Krasnoyarsk Krai has led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man suspected of causing the death of a 17-year-old girl, who was reportedly attacked by pigs. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced that the suspect, identified as Igor Z., is believed to have inflicted bodily harm on the girl, resulting in her loss of consciousness in a pig pen. The girl, a resident of Ushkanka, died on November 23, with preliminary reports indicating she suffered a hemorrhage after the animals damaged her femoral artery.
The investigation revealed that Igor Z. worked as a cattleman on the farm where the incident occurred, and he had a history of violence, having previously served time for killing his brother. Local sources suggest that on the day of the incident, Igor was inebriated and may have sought revenge against the girl's father, who was his boss. However, conflicting accounts from acquaintances indicate that there were no significant conflicts between Igor and the girl's family.
During the investigation, Igor admitted to hitting the girl on the head multiple times as she exited a building on the farm. This admission has raised questions about the circumstances leading to her tragic death, as friends and family describe the deceased as a responsible and caring individual who was well-versed in handling animals. The girl's parents were away in Krasnoyarsk at the time of the incident, and it was her boyfriend who discovered her body after her mother became concerned when she could not reach her by phone.
