Shooting at Michigan Water Park Leaves Multiple Injured
In a tragic incident near Detroit, Michigan, up to ten individuals, including children, were injured in a random shooting at the Brooklands Plaza Splash Pad in Rochester Hills. The shooting took place around 5 p.m. local time on Saturday. According to Oakland County Police Chief Michael Bouchard, a man exited a vehicle and opened fire with a 9 mm semi-automatic weapon, discharging approximately 30 rounds and reloading multiple times.
Authorities reported that the suspect is believed to be contained within a nearby house, and a weapon has been recovered at the scene. The injured individuals have been transported to various local hospitals for treatment. Police confirmed that the youngest victim is an eight-year-old child.
