Russian Armed Forces Target Ukrainian Military Infrastructure
In a recent escalation of military operations, the Russian Armed Forces have launched significant strikes against Ukrainian military infrastructure. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, these attacks specifically targeted military airfields, railway facilities crucial for the delivery of Western military equipment, and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) assembly and storage sites. The report detailed that operational-tactical aviation, strike drones, missile troops, and artillery were employed to damage these critical infrastructures across 147 locations.
The Russian military claimed to have successfully intercepted 10 HIMARS multiple launch rockets and 36 UAVs during these operations. In the Kharkov region, Russian troops reportedly engaged and defeated formations of two territorial defense brigades, resulting in the loss of approximately 75 Ukrainian servicemen along with military equipment, including two 122-mm howitzers.
