Riyadh International Book Fair 2024: A Resounding Success

The Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 has concluded with a remarkable turnout and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Wasil, Director General of the General Administration of Publishing at the General Authority for Literature, Publishing and Translation, emphasized that the visitor experience is crucial for the event's success. He noted that the exhibition saw millions of visitors and significant purchases, showcasing the slogan 'Riyadh Reads' in action.

With over two thousand publishing houses participating from 30 countries, the fair offered a rich tapestry of cultural activities, featuring more than 200 events including seminars, dialogues, and poetry evenings. This year's fair was particularly notable for the participation of Qatar, which provided attendees with a comprehensive insight into Qatari culture through its dedicated pavilion, highlighting architecture, fashion, and handicrafts.
