A Palestinian Student's Journey Through War and Displacement
In the midst of ongoing conflict and displacement, a displaced Palestinian girl reflects on her journey as a student of architecture at the Islamic University of Gaza. After fleeing to Khan Younis and later Rafah, she faced immense challenges, including the destruction of infrastructure and the loss of internet access, which hindered her ability to continue her studies. However, a glimmer of hope emerged when her alma mater announced a plan for remote learning, allowing students to continue their education amid the turmoil.
Despite the difficulties, including navigating bombings and limited resources, she persevered and successfully completed her exams, achieving top grades. Her story is a testament to resilience and the enduring spirit of students striving for education amidst unimaginable circumstances.
