Mozilla has launched Thunderbird Mobile, an email application designed to prioritize user privacy and data security. The app does not collect user data, display ads, or track user behavior, ensuring that all emails remain on the user's device or the mail provider's server without temporary storage on third-party servers.
Thunderbird Mobile supports multiple email accounts through popular protocols like IMAP, POP3, and Exchange, along with OAuth for compatibility with various email services. The app features a Unified Inbox that consolidates emails from different accounts for easier management.
Currently available for Android, Thunderbird Mobile is set to release an iOS version in the future. The app's seamless integration with the desktop version allows users to transfer settings easily via a QR code, enhancing user experience.
