Morteza Mehrzad, the towering Iranian sitting volleyball player, has finally received a king-size bed at the Paralympic Village, ensuring a comfortable sleep as he competes for glory in Paris. Standing at an impressive 2.46 meters tall, Mehrzad is not only the tallest athlete in the Paralympics but also the second tallest living man in the world. His journey to find suitable sleeping arrangements highlights the challenges faced by athletes with unique physical requirements. Previously, he considered sleeping on the floor due to a lack of appropriate equipment, a situation that was rectified with the help of the Paris 2024 organizing committee, who provided multiple bed extensions to accommodate him.
