Moroccan and Egyptian Olympic Teams Announce Final Squads for Paris 2024
The coaches of the Moroccan and Egyptian Olympic teams have officially announced their final lists of players who will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The event is set to begin on the 26th of this month and will continue until the 11th of next month.
Moroccan Olympic Team
Coach Tariq Sektioui has included notable players such as Ashraf Hakimi from Paris Saint-Germain, Sufyan Rahimi from Al Ain, and Mounir Al Mohammadi from Al Wahda. Each Olympic team is allowed to call up two players over the age of 23. Morocco will be competing in Group B, alongside Argentina, Ukraine, and Iraq. Their first match is against Argentina on the 24th of this month.

Egyptian coach Rogero Micale has also revealed his final squad list, which includes Mohamed Elneny and Ahmed Sayed Zizou. Egypt will be competing in Group C, alongside Spain, Uzbekistan, and the Dominican Republic. The Egyptian team earned their place in the Olympics by securing second place in the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.

France will be competing in Group A.
