Homicide in Georges-Valbon Park: A Grim Discovery
A 23-year-old man has been indicted for intentional homicide and placed in pre-trial detention following the discovery of a decomposed body in Georges-Valbon park in La Courneuve, Seine-Saint-Denis. The victim, a 29-year-old Pakistani man, was found by his brother on Tuesday evening. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, with the victim's underwear and pants pulled down to the knees.
Investigation and Arrest
The victim's brother had been searching for him for several days after he disappeared following an argument with the suspect, who is also from Pakistan. The brother, driven by desperation, continued the search on his own and was eventually led to the body by a friend of the deceased. The suspect, under pressure from the Pakistani community, eventually revealed the location of the body and turned himself in to the police at the Aubervilliers station.

The investigation, led by the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis, revealed that the suspect received calls from members of the Pakistani community, urging him to disclose the whereabouts of the body. This pressure led him to show a relative the location of the body, who then informed the victim's brother. The suspect is now in pre-trial detention as the investigation continues to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
