Today, Israeli occupation forces conducted raids in the West Bank, specifically targeting camps in Nablus and Hebron. Reports indicate that military vehicles stormed the Balata and Askar camps, resulting in gunfire and heightened tensions in the area. Local sources have confirmed that the forces deployed in multiple locations within the Balata camp before withdrawing towards the Askar camp. In a separate incident, four Palestinians sustained injuries following a collision with an Israeli military vehicle, while another was injured by Israeli soldiers near Azmut village, east of Nablus.
In Hebron, the forces arrested several Palestinians during their incursion into the Al-Fawar camp and the city of Dura. Additionally, Israeli military vehicles were reported to have raided the Al-Balou neighborhood in Al-Bireh and the town of Deir Abu Mash'al, west of Ramallah. These operations involved soldiers roaming the streets and conducting searches of homes, although no arrests were reported from these latter raids.
The situation in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem has escalated, characterized by frequent raids and confrontations between the occupation forces and Palestinians. This surge in military activity coincides with the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip, which has been particularly intense since October 7, 2023.
