Israeli shelling has intensified in areas such as Haret Hreik, with the military confirming attacks on Hezbollah intelligence facilities and an underground weapons production site. This comes in the wake of a year marked by cross-border exchanges of fire, with Israel ramping up its military operations since late September, including ground incursions into southern Lebanon.
