Inoxtag Critiques Jordan Bardella's Support After Burglary Incident
YouTuber Inoxtag, known for his substantial following of nearly 9 million subscribers, recently became the victim of a burglary at a rental property he owns in Poissy, Yvelines. The incident occurred on November 6, 2024, and has since sparked a political backlash following a message of support from Jordan Bardella, the president of the National Rally (RN). In his message on social media platform X, Bardella highlighted the increasing insecurity in France, stating, "no one is safe from insecurity that has spiraled out of control," while criticizing far-left activists for their alleged insensitivity towards such incidents.
Inoxtag, whose real name is Inès Benazzouz, swiftly responded to Bardella's remarks, accusing him of engaging in "political recovery". He expressed frustration, saying, "We can't stand you anymore. Support the real French people who really need it..." This exchange highlights the contentious political climate in France, particularly regarding issues of security and crime.
Details of the Burglary and Inoxtag's Response
The burglary at Inoxtag's rental property was reported to have caused damages estimated at around 10,000 euros. Contrary to initial reports, the burglary did not occur at his primary residence but rather at a house he rents out. The tenant discovered the break-in upon returning home. Inoxtag previously experienced a similar incident during his ascent of Everest, where he lost a significant collection of sneakers and watches.
In a reassuring message to his followers, Inoxtag stated, "Friends, everything is fine for me, two burglaries in the space of 6 months." He noted that during the latest incident, although the burglars broke a window with a crowbar, they did not steal anything of significant value. To enhance his security, he has decided to place the property under surveillance, emphasizing the need for precaution in light of these events.
