IDF Forces Face Heavy Losses in Gaza Strip

Tribute to Fallen Soldiers
In another tragic incident, Captain Elie Elisha Logsi, a team commander in the 75th Battalion of the 'Saar Megolan' Brigade, also fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip. Logsi was the only son of Samdar, an aide employed at the municipality of Kiryat Shmona. Three fighters from the 75th Battalion were seriously injured in the same incident and were evacuated for medical treatment. The city of Kiryat Shmona paid tribute to Logsi, describing him as 'a brave warrior and an amazing man, the salt of the earth.'
Logsi's mother, Samdar, faced immense sorrow, having fought hard to bring him into the world as her only son. Despite being wounded at the beginning of the war, Logsi insisted on returning to fight after his recovery. Friends and community members expressed their deep shock and grief, with one friend, Gaia Bozaglu, writing, 'Refuse to believe. My dear friend, we will be worthy of you, may you rest in peace.'
