Hezbollah's Commitment to Defeating Israel Amid Ongoing Conflict
In a recent press conference, Muhammad Afif, the head of media relations for Hezbollah, emphasized that the party's primary focus is to defeat Israel militarily. He stated that the ongoing conflict, which has now entered its 19th day, is just the beginning of a larger battle. Afif criticized Israeli military censorship, claiming it obscures the true extent of their losses both on the battlefield and at home. He condemned the Israeli forces for their attacks on paramedics and ambulances, alleging complicity from the United States, and denounced the aggression against United Nations facilities.
Afif reassured supporters that Hezbollah’s strategic reserves remain intact, and the group is prepared to adapt its tactics as the situation evolves. He noted that despite Israel's attempts to reinforce its military presence, the resistance has successfully set ambushes, forcing Israeli troops to retreat. The Hezbollah official expressed confidence in their fighters' commitment to defend their homeland, asserting that they will not abandon their positions, and reiterated that the battle is still in its initial phases. He anticipates that residents will soon return to southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region, envisioning a better future for the southern suburbs of Beirut.
