France's Rugby Team Prepares for Final Autumn Test Against Argentina
As the French rugby team gears up for their final autumn test match against Argentina, coach Fabien Galthié has made significant changes to the lineup. Notably, Grégory Alldritt, who captained the team during the last Six Nations Tournament, has been omitted from the squad due to a decline in performance and increased competition for places. Alldritt's absence marks a considerable shift, as he had been a mainstay in the starting XV since November 2021.
In his place, Charles Ollivon will take the field at the Stade de France, returning to the starting lineup after being sidelined for previous matches. The third row will also see the return of François Cros, who has recovered from a concussion, and Paul Boudehent, who has been in impressive form, scoring three tries in the last two matches. This reshuffling indicates a strategic move by Galthié to enhance the team's performance against the Pumas.
Key Changes in the Starting Lineup
The full-back position will feature Léo Barré, who returns after a brief absence, replacing Romain Buros. Additionally, Uini Atonio is set to return to the front row after recovering from injury, taking over from Tevita Tatafu. The French team will maintain a 6-2 bench configuration, with young talent Marko Gazzotti poised to make his international debut if called upon. The final lineup against Argentina is as follows:
Barré - Villière, Fickou, Moefana, Bielle-Biarrey - (o) Ramos, (m) Dupont (cap.) - Boudehent, Ollivon, Cros - Meafou, Flament - Atonio, Mauvaka, Gros. Substitutes include Marchand, Wardi, Colombe, Roumat, Guillard, Gazzotti, Le Garrec, and Gailleton.
