Firefighting Efforts in Nice

However, another fire broke out in the same sector on Tuesday evening, requiring the efforts of 90 firefighters and multiple water bomber helicopters. This second fire destroyed two hectares of woods. Although no civilians were injured, one firefighter was hospitalized at Pasteur Hospital in Nice.
Uncontrolled Blaze in Córdoba
Meanwhile, in Córdoba, Argentina, a forest fire that started on Sunday has spiraled out of control, consuming over 70 hectares in the Traslasierra valley. The fire originated near Champaquí Hill and has been difficult to control due to the inaccessible terrain and unfavorable weather conditions. Eight fire crews, five hydrant planes, and two helicopters have been deployed to combat the blaze. Despite these efforts, the fire continues to spread, affecting both the Traslasierra and Calamuchita areas. Provincial spokesperson Roberto Schreiner highlighted the challenges posed by the height and wind, and praised the volunteer firefighters for their relentless efforts. Fortunately, no civilian populations are currently at risk.
