Al-Qassam and Al-Quds Brigades Target Israeli Forces in Gaza

In a significant escalation of hostilities, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, reported the detonation of an explosive device against an Israeli force of 15 soldiers near Jabalia camp. This incident occurred as the soldiers attempted to storm a house, leading to casualties among the Israeli troops. The attack included targeting three tanks in both Gaza City and Rafah, showcasing the ongoing military confrontations in the region.

The Al-Qassam Brigades detailed that their fighters successfully targeted a Merkava tank using a specialized

shell in the Tawam area, alongside an armored personnel carrier near Al-Khazindar station. Video evidence was released by the Military Media Office of the Al-Qassam Brigades, highlighting the detonation of a booby-trapped tunnel aimed at an Israeli engineering unit in Rafah.

Simultaneously, the Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for destroying an Israeli military vehicle in northern Gaza, utilizing a highly explosive

sand bomb. They reported detonating a troop carrier at the Al-Tawam junction and shelling a gathering of Israeli forces east of Jabalia with mortars. This coordinated military activity underscores the intensity of the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also participated in these confrontations, releasing footage of their attacks on a command and control site in the Civil Administration area, employing guided missiles. The Israeli army has yet to respond to these claims, as the conflict continues to escalate, marking the 372nd day of hostilities in the Gaza Strip. The humanitarian situation remains dire, with tens of thousands of civilians reported dead or wounded amidst a looming famine.
