These have been a somewhat atypical vacation for the Spanish Royal Family. Their separate support for the Spanish delegation at the Paris Olympic Games, which they recorded in the newly launched Instagram account of the Royal Family, was the reason why the Kings and their two daughters this year have broken with the traditional family inn in Mallorca, royal destination par excellence for decades of Spanish royalty. The monarchs did meet with Balearic society at the reception at the Marivent Palace, but the entire Royal Family could only be seen on one occasion, when they went out to dinner in Palma. Queen Letizia, her daughters and Doña Sofía were seen once again walking through the streets of the Balearic capital. When there is still a little more than a week left until the end of the month of August, Felipe VI and Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía are making separate plans.

While this Thursday night the Kings were seen going out to dinner at a seafood restaurant in the Plaza de Oriente, in the heart of Madrid, their eldest daughter was on a beach in Vélez-Málaga, on the Eastern Costa del Sol. The Princess of Asturias enjoyed this Thursday with some friends at a beach bar located in the town of Caleta de Vélez, as eyewitnesses have informed Efe. The crown princess, who turns 19 next October, had lunch with a group of half a dozen friends at the Saladero beach bar, in the area of the establishment that has its tables on the same sand. Her presence initially went unnoticed, until a client recognized her as she was leaving the place.

The heir to the throne's vacation also took her this August to the Mallorcan capital, where on the 6th, after a walk with Queen Letizia, Infanta Sofia and Queen Emeritus Sofia through the center of the city, she left an image novel when seen driving a car for the first time. Leonor de Borbón, who this summer also inaugurated her official solo agenda with a trip to Portugal, completed her first year of military training at the Zaragoza Academy last July. After receiving the position of second lieutenant at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza (AGM), he leaves the Army to join the Spanish Navy and complete his military training: on August 29 he plans to join the Naval Military School of Marín, in Pontevedra.

The one who has already returned to the routine is Infanta Sofía. After her vacation in Palma and her stay in Paris with her older sister to support Spanish athletes, this Friday the youngest daughter of the Kings returns to Wales to begin her second year of International Baccalaureate at the UWC Atlantic College. Although the start of classes is scheduled for September 3, second-year students are scheduled to arrive at the boarding school today to act as mentors when the new students arrive at the beginning of next week, according to the academic center's calendar.

Sofía de Borbón, 17 years old, will complete the Baccalaureate cycle in Wales on May 24, 2025, the end date of the course. The boarding school has three vacation periods scheduled, the first of them, between October 25 and November 3, and the second, from December 11 to January 6 of next year, in accordance with the academic agenda. As they did with the crown princess, the Kings assume the cost of the infanta's stay in the center belonging to the United World Schools organization, which amounts to 74,000 pounds (about 82,000 euros) for the two courses.

This is his last year, and therefore a decisive year for his future. At the moment, the Royal Family has not reported what her academic training will be once she finishes high school or whether she will begin studying at a university, since unlike the crown princess, she does not have to do military training. . Before she turns 18, on April 29, Sofía de Borbón will star in her first official solo act with the award ceremony of the new photographic contest organized by National Heritage in her name. This will be her first institutional role representing the Crown.
