"Nadia was a humble and hardworking woman, always smiling and ready to do anything for her daughter," Cohen Mor expressed in a heartfelt Facebook post. "She was happy about their new life in Jaffa and dedicated to making Mia's dreams come true."

Nadia's journey to Israel began 20 years ago when she immigrated from Moldova, inspired by stories from her Jewish grandmother. Recently, she had moved to Jaffa to provide Mia with a better environment, and she was thriving in her new job at a high-tech company. Tragically, she was shot on her way home after celebrating the New Year with her colleagues. Cohen Mor vowed to ensure that Nadia's family receives the support they need, stating, "We will take care of Vadim and Mia, just as Nadia would have wanted."

Nadia Sokolenko Laid to Rest Amid National Mourning

Nadia Sokolenko was laid to rest in a licensed cemetery in Jaffa, surrounded by friends and family who mourned her untimely death. Her husband Vadim and daughter Mia were left heartbroken, as Nadia had been the center of their world. Friends recounted how she had dedicated her life to ensuring Mia's happiness and education, even going to great lengths to find the right school for her daughter.

During the funeral, Vadim delivered an emotional eulogy, promising to uphold the dreams Nadia had for their daughter. He recalled their last moments together, filled with love and warmth.
