Parc Astérix is celebrating its 35th anniversary by offering free entry to visitors named Romain, Romaine, Roman, or Romane until August 31, 2024. Enjoy new attractions and special discounts for accompanying guests.

Parc Astérix, one of France's most beloved theme parks, is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special offer for visitors named Romain, Romaine, Roman, or Romane. Until August 31, 2024, individuals with these first names can enjoy free entry to the park, located in Oise, roughly 40 kilometers north of Paris. This is a significant perk considering the regular ticket prices: €62 for adults and €54 for children aged 4 to 11.

To avail of this offer, visitors must present a valid original ID at the Parc Astérix ticket office. The park clarifies that the offer is valid only once per day per person but can be used multiple times within the promotion period. Additionally, up to three accompanying persons can benefit from a 10% discount on the full ticket price. However, this offer does not extend to individuals with the last name Romain, Romaine, Roman, or Romane.

Opened in 1989, Parc Astérix is the second most visited theme park in France, trailing only Disneyland Paris. The park welcomed a record 2.8 million visitors in 2023 and is marking its 35th anniversary with new attractions and shows. Among the new features is the 'Tour de Numérobis,' a ride that ascends to 40 meters, and a new musical comedy titled 'It’s madness!'

The park has also implemented measures to prevent fraud. A copy of the visitor's ID will be made at the ticket office, and this copy will be destroyed within 24 hours. A watermark will be automatically affixed to the copy to ensure its authenticity. The offer is also valid if Romain, Romaine, Roman, or Romane is a middle name, as long as it appears on the ID.

This special promotion and the new attractions, such as 'La Tour Numérobis' with its flying chairs at a height of 48 meters and the musical 'C'est du delirium!' performed at the Panoramix Theater, make it an ideal time to visit Parc Astérix.

  • The offer is a great way for families and friends to enjoy a day out at Parc Astérix without breaking the bank. With the park's exciting new features and the special anniversary celebrations, there's never been a better time to visit.
  • Parc Astérix continues to be a favorite destination for both locals and tourists, offering a unique blend of thrilling rides, entertaining shows, and a charming atmosphere inspired by the beloved Asterix comic series.
