A serious accident involving a school bus occurred in Seine-et-Marne, France, on September 23, 2023. Out of the 58 teenagers on board, 14 were injured, with 12 suffering minor injuries and 2 sustaining serious injuries. The seriously injured teenagers were transported to Trousseau and Robert Debré hospitals in Paris, but their conditions were reported as serious yet not life-threatening. The driver of the bus also sustained minor injuries, and tests for alcohol and drugs came back negative, indicating no substance influence at the time of the accident.

Reports indicate that the road conditions were poor due to prior rainfall, which may have contributed to the overturning of the bus.
