Jewish writer Yigal Nessel says that manifestations of anti-Semitism in Scandinavia have increased significantly in the wake of the Al-Aqsa Intifada against Israel, and Jewish institutions are now being overwhelmed by ongoing security threats, he says.
Nessel, an activist in organizations that protect Jews from anti-Semitism, explained in an article in the Israeli newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, that Jews in Scandinavia feel that they are increasingly targeted, and that the number of security incidents at Jewish sites in those countries has doubled over the past year, and has increased in Norway and Denmark more than others.
